Although I have seen a number of different GP's at the practice all have been very professional and thorough. I have never felt rushed when talking to a GP and any tests requested have been organised very quickly. I have also been very pleased to receive results by telephone from a GP in the evening. I think the practice provides an excellent service and far better than my previous doctor. I have already recommended the practice to my daughter and her family who have recently moved to the area and they have been suitably impressed too.

In order to get an appointment with the Doctor who knows about the issue you are coming for, you have to make an appointment well in advance. The online booking system has improved this process - but you still need to book well in advance. I don't mind seeing any doctor when the issue is acute - and not related to a long term health issue. I think the Practice should insist on having 1 issue, 1 appointment - if patients want to discuss more than 1 problem, they should book the appropriate time. This would inevitably decrease the number of avialable appts but stop waiting times in the surgery. Currently, the Practice does not have an asthma specialist which makes it difficult for checks. Last time I went, I was seen by a non-specialist who really couldn't provide the answers to the questions I was asking around the need to increase/decrease medication. I have mild asthma, so it must be difficult for those with severe. Perhaps they are taking up precious Doctor time? It's great that we have a choice of 3 surgeries.
